cil masterfully re-caned four tiger maple dining chairs for me.bonus: not only are the chairs revived, i now have the background on where and when they were made. cil noticed the maker stamp and did some online sleuthing - turned up with charles t. robinson from rochester who made the chairs in the mid 1800s.another bonus: cil was very generous with her time, giving me an overview of her craft and answering my many questions.thanks cil - it was a pleasure meeting you.catherine

The six Danish dining room chairs my aunt used for more than fifty years are now beautifully transformed for our daily use - re-glued and newly corded with deep thanks to Cil’s amazing skill and attention to detail. I am sure they will be a legacy for our grandchildren! It was truly an honour to benefit from Cil’s many years of experience, her skill, and her open-hearted, exuberant love of her work.

It was a pleasure to have my four Danish chairs restrung by Cil. She was a delight to meet and her craftsmanship and material, I believe, is of highest quality. I highly recommend Cil's work. After only a year of use, the caning in chairs in our bistro was falling apart. Not only did Cil recane the chairs, she diagnosed the problem - sharp edges and staples - and fixed it (rounded the edges and used glue). Remedying a design and construction flaw means that the newly caned chairs should last MUCH longer. In addition to be an expert recaner, Cil is lovely to work with. Thank you, Cil!
